Ah, la, la!
It is now official! I am leaving Hodes. Which means everything has become rather scarily real! Might need to bring forward that hyperventilating I had planned for the 21st March.
Whilst I attempt to find a paper bag to breathe into, can everyone else be putting 12th March in the diaries please? The lovely Biz and SJ have been plotting a leaving party on my behalf – check out the facebook event here.

The story ahead
21st March – Hyperventilate, fly to Moscow.
21st – 23rd March – shiver, try not to offend anyone by refusing vodka, try not to offend anyone after drinking vodka.
23rd March – track down station, jump on Trans-Mongolian train to Beijing.
23rd to 29th March – watch scenery, read books, try not to offend anyone by refusing vodka, try not to offend anyone after drinking vodka…repeat.
29th March – stumble off Trans-Mongolian train in Beijing.
29th March to 2nd April – get lost, find hostel, get lost, re-find hostel, get lost, find airport.
2nd April – fly to Seoul.
2nd – 9th April – find parents, find sister (L), find sister (E), visit DMZ, visit noribang, apologise for terrible singing, drink soju, travel to Cheongju.
10th April – Sister(E)'s wedding (part 3)!
11th April to 4th May – be extra nice to sister (E) in the hope she’ll let me stay or be really quiet so she doesn’t notice that I have.
4th May to end of May - wander around South Korea with sister (E) and possibly a tent.
June to who knows when – erm? In no particular order: China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, India. It’s all a little vague right now.

The story so far
Thought about travelling. Didn’t go. Thought about travelling again. Changed job. Thought about travelling some more. Had a conversation in a bar in Cape Town. Signed up for a TEFL course. Had conversation in a pub in Stockwell. Handed in notice on flat. Dumped stuff at sister(L)’s (sorry sister (L)!). Begged and borrowed beds. Handed in notice at work. Began to panic.
I think that covers it.
